Jimi Hendrix – High Times at San Jose (12-Inch Double-LP)

This double album presents the Jimi Hendrix Experience’s blistering headline appearance at the Northern California Folk-Rock Festival, on 25 May 1969, in its entirety. The festival was held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, in San Jose, California.

Famed for its mesmerising jams, the band’s legendary set included Hendrix classics such as Purple Haze, Fire and Foxy Lady, plus extended versions of Voodoo Child (Slight Return) and Red House, and more.

This pre-Woodstock performance was one of the final major festival appearances of the original Experience lineup of Hendrix, Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell.
